BG_ASCII v1. 3 is an interactive ASCII graphic tool. It can create color, halftone or black and white ascii pictures from image files. BG_ASCII supports many image file formats such as bmp, jpg, gif, ico, pcx, pcd, tiff.
It can also create monocolor or gradient color artistic ascii text. You can save your work as plain text, bmp image file or color html page. Using desktop hotkey you can create artistic ascii text within any Windows application (this is very useful to add e-mail signatures or commentary to program code).
Ascii art picture can be inverted, flipped, rotated, cropped. You can resize and crop images, adjust black and white levels, change foreground, background and halftone characters, and adjust fontfaces.
